What is Sparky?

Sparky is an AI-powered assistant that helps you find your favorite items, synthesize reviews, and make informed purchase with confidence. For example, ask Sparky to help you find the best laptop for an art student or the best birthday gift for a two-year-old.

How does Sparky work?

Sparky uses advanced AI models to interact with you conversationally, understand your shopping needs, suggest relevant products, answer questions, and provide recommendations based on your preferences.

Sparky is designed to help you shop with Walmart. Please do not rely on Sparky for medical, legal, or financial advice.

Where can I access Sparky?

Soon, you will be able to access Sparky by clicking on the smiley face in the middle of the bottom navigation bar when using the Walmart app. Open Sparky, and ask Sparky a question!

Sparky is only accessible in the Walmart app for US customers. You must be signed into the app to start a conversation with Sparky. 

Is Sparky utilizing my data?

Sparky only leverages limited customer data to provide you with the best recommendations. Sparky adheres to the data collection and use restrictions within the Walmart Privacy Policy found here.

How do I give feedback about the assistant?

While Sparky is designed to be as accurate as possible, mistakes can happen. And we always love to hear from our customers!
