Marketplace sellers must list the condition of the video games items they’re selling on Walmart.com when they create a listing.
Items Listed as New
- New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in the original packaging.
- The item is factory sealed, with tags (and include warranties and instructions for appropriate categories).
Items Listed as Open Box
- Open Box: Excellent condition with no signs of usage and still in its original packaging or generic packaging.
- Packaging can be open or show signs of wear, but original accessories are included. Instructions are included for appropriate categories.
Items Listed as Restored
- Premium: Eligibility is restricted to manufacturers, manufacturer-authorized, or other qualifying sellers or suppliers.
- “Like-new” condition with very light micro-scratches, invisible at a distance of 8-12 inches (arm’s length).
- Disk will have no scratches and will not skip. Video game cartridge battery life, if applicable, must be 90% of the “like new” equivalent or higher.
- A minimum one-year written warranty.
- 30-days free returns and replacements, unless the item is otherwise excluded under the 15-day return window for certain electronics.
- Good: The item has slight signs of wear/use, including small scuffs, mark, or scratches barely visible when holding the product 12 inches away, and imperceptible to touch.
- Video game cartridge battery life, if applicable, must be 80% of the “like-new” equivalent or higher.
- At least 90-days free returns.
- Fair: Item may have visible signs of wear/use, including more significant scratches or marks visible when holding the product 12 inches away, and perceptible to touch.
- Disk will have no scratches and will not skip.

Items Listed as Pre-Owned
- Like New: Perfect working condition with no signs of wear or usage. Instructions are included for appropriate categories.

- Good: Functions properly and has minimal signs of wear or usage (may have small scuffs, marks, or scratches). Instructions may not be included.
