You can check your Walmart pharmacy prescription status and refill info by following these steps.
Walmart Website or App:
- Sign into your Walmart account.
- Select Services.
- Select Pharmacy.
- Verify your 4-digit PIN (or use biometrics, if available).
- Select Refill Prescriptions.
- The prescription status is shown below each prescription name (E.g. Ready for refill).
Phone or in person:
- Call your store pharmacy to access the phone menu for prescription updates.
- Visit your store pharmacy and speak with their pharmacy staff.
If you don't have a pharmacy online account set up yet, you'll first need to verify your ID online .

To refill a prescription using the Walmart website:
- Sign into your Walmart account.
- Select Services.
- Select Pharmacy.
- Verify your 4-digit PIN (or use biometrics, if available).
- Select Refill Prescriptions.
- Select the checkbox next to any available prescription.
- Select Continue.
- Review the Pickup location.
- Review the order and make changes, if needed .
- To change the payment type, select Edit in the Payment field.
- Select Place Order to submit your refill order.
To refill a prescription using the Walmart app:
- Sign into your Walmart account.
- Select Services.
- Select Pharmacy.
- Verify your 4-digit PIN (or use biometrics, if available).
- Select Refill Prescriptions.
- See below for Scan to Refill steps.
- Select the checkbox next to any available prescription.
- Select Continue.
- Review the order and make changes, if needed .
- To change the payment type, select Edit in the Payment field.
- Select Place Order to submit your refill order.
To use the Scan to Refill option in the Walmart app:
- Sign into your Walmart account.
- Select Services.
- Select Pharmacy.
- Verify your 4-digit PIN (or use biometrics, if available).
- Select Scan to refill.
- Scan the barcode on the side of the prescription bottle.
- Enter the date of birth.
- Select Confirm.
- You can select Add another prescription or Continue.
- Review the order and make changes, if needed.
- To change the payment type, select Edit in the Payment field.
- Select Place Order.
