Quick-thinking child's incredible six word question that saved her from 'abduction'

A quick-thinking teenager pretended that two passersby were related to her to evade a drunk man who had approached her and made inappropriate remarks.

The unknown teenager had been walking on the 2100 block of MacDade Boulevard in the Holmes area of Ridley Township, in Pennsylvania, on Tuesday.

She was then approached by a man who was clutching a liquor bottle, who said to her: 'Are you afraid?'

Nearby health and wellness shop owners Tina and Bill Moss had been watching the interaction, when suddenly the teen called out for them as if they were her relatives.

'She looked over and said, "Hey is that my aunt Rachel? And I said yes', Bill Moss recalled to ABC13

Aunt Rachel was actually Tina, with the couple quickly whisking her away to safety inside the store.

Moss added: 'He followed her directly from the store to the window and banged on the glass. We locked the doors, called the police.'

The young girl's mom Christina Pino told ABC: 'The first thing that he said to her was, "are you afraid?", before making inappropriate and sexual comments to her.

Pino continued: 'She just thought, "I had to get out of the situation quick", and so she said, "Aunt Rachel! Aunt Rachel!"

'I just think people in Ridley Township need to be more aware of the people that are walking along MacDade Boulevard.'

She has since visited Bill and Tina, thanking them for helping save her daughter with the trio sharing hugs.

The couple told the outlet that they hoped someone would do the same for their own children.

Bill added: 'We're just normal people. We're parents, we just own a store in our town. So we want to make sure our town is safe and we're here for you.'

Ridley Township says the man was arrested and charged with inappropriate verbal contact with a minor, they have not released his identity.

Pino also told the outlet that she hopes the man gets help, and hopes her daughter's story will help parents talk to their children more about stranger danger.
