Change Membership
You can change from a monthly subscription to an annual subscription at any time.
- Sign into your Walmart account.
- Select Account.
- Select Walmart+.
- Select Manage Membership.
- Select Upgrade to annual.
You can’t currently change from an annual membership to a monthly membership.
Pause Membership
You can temporarily pause your Walmart+ membership for one month at a time, limited to three times per year. This is not available to trial, Paramount+ with showtime upgrade. We won’t bill you while your membership is on pause, however you won’t have access to any member benefits until your membership resumes. If you have InHome Plus Up, it will be paused along with your Walmart+ membership.
- Sign into your Walmart account.
- Select Account.
- Select Walmart+.
- Select Manage Membership.
- Select Manage by Walmart+ Plan.
- Select Pause by Pause membership.
- Select one of the following options:
- Pause Membership
- Don't pause membership
Unpause Membership
- Select Undo pause to unpause your membership if it’s before the end of the current billing cycle, in which case you’ll be billed for your membership in the usual course.
Resume Membership
Once the paused month is over your membership will resume and we’ll bill you for your membership on your regular billing date. Once paused, you can choose to resume at any time during the paused month. The day that you resume will be your new billing date going forward.
- Sign into your Walmart account.
- Go to the Account page.
- Select Walmart+.
- Go to the Manage membership page.
- Select Resume membership.
- Confirm your payment method on the next screen.
- This page shows the amount and date for the next charge.
- Select Resume Membership.
- All benefits resume right away.
- Date on which you resume becomes your new billing date.
Cancel Membership
- Go to your walmart.com account.
- Select Walmart+.
- Select Manage membership.
- Select Manage beside Walmart+ plan.
- Select Cancel beside Cancel membership.
- Select one of the following:
- Confirm cancellation
- View exclusive offer
- Keep membership
Remind Me Later
If you choose to cancel your membership, you’ll see a prompt to get a Remind Me Later email sent three days before your renewal date, so you don’t need to cancel immediately.
Reactivate a Canceled Membership
If you change your mind about cancelling your Walmart+ membership before the end of your billing cycle:
- Sign into your Walmart account.
- Select Account.
- Select Walmart+.
- Select the Reactivate membership.
Walmart+ Troubleshooting
Walmart App is Crashing or Not Working
- Turn on your phone’s location and camera services.
- If the location and camera are on, try hard closing and reopening the app.
- If the app is still not working, uninstall and reinstall the Walmart app.
- If you are unable to reactivate your account, double check your membership payment method. If expired or invalid, you must update the payment method before you can reactivate.
Activation Error
Follow the steps if you receive the following error message during sign up.
“Your payment method couldn’t be verified. Please check the card number, security code, and expiration date and try again, or use a different payment method.”
Confirm your payment card information:
- Re-enter the full card number.
- Confirm the expiration date.
- Confirm the name on the card.
- Confirm the billing address and Zip code for the card.
- Confirm the phone number.
