Caroline West-Meads - Agony aunt, YOU Magazine

Caroline has spent almost three decades studying other people¿s relationships and sex lives through working very closely with her counsellor mother, the Mail on Sunday¿s iconic Zelda West-Meads, whose agony column in YOU she edited and advised on for many years. Caroline took over the role in 2020. Her early career was as a journalist on local newspapers, before becoming a magazine deputy chief sub-editor. Taking a long career break to bring up children, she went on to retrain as an integrative counsellor. For many years Caroline has also supported three separate friends whose lives have been shattered by long-term illness. She has been married for nearly 30 years and has two grown-up daughters. Away from work, she has a passion for literature, swimming and her dog.
