Tragedy as woman dies after plunging 80metres down a waterfall

A young woman has died after falling 80metres down a waterfall.
The 36-year-old fell to her death at Mapleton Falls on Queensland's Sunshine Coast about 3.30pm on Friday.
She was treated by paramedics for significant injuries but died at the scene.
An 18-year-old man who was with the woman at the time was also injured.
He was rushed to Nambour Hospital in a serious condition.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
