EXCLUSIVEI was accused of stealing from Morrison's and singled-out because I didn't print off a receipt - it was humiliating
A man who claims he was picked out and accused of stealing from Morrison's has spoken about how 'embarrassed' the staff made him feel when they laughed at his stutter.
Shiloh Forbes was stopped by security after they were told he had stolen three drinks totalling £11.49 despite a self-checkout staff approving his age verification.
The 26-year-old said the staff then 'sniggered' when he began to stutter more because he was in 'distress' at the accusation.
A 'humiliated' Mr Forbes explained that he had not printed a receipt for his grenadine, tropical juice, and sugar syrup but his online banking transaction notification confirmed a payment to Morrison's.
'We all use Apple Pay, why was I singled out?' the influencer told MailOnline.
When a receipt allegedly could not be found in the system, police were called despite the supermarket's security saying they could see him scan his phone to pay on CCTV.
'I told the police officer the only reason they've been called here is because I'm black,' he said.
'I just felt so alone, no one tried to help me. It was humiliating.'

Mr Forbes asked the self-checkout staff 'why are you telling me I've stolen something? Its because I'm black right'
The security guard also acknowledged he recognised Mr Forbes as he often shopped in that Morrison's.
Mr Forbes said the self-checkout staff who 'singled' him out and 'judged him' got 'really in my face'.
The staff member then would not let Mr Forbes 'properly look' at the receipt he found in the system or could see him hand it to the guard.
He believed the other staff 'could have proven my innocence way before' and 'it was taken way out of proportion'.
'Why couldn't they just add up my items and see that that was the cost? This stuff is accessible to them.'
'It made me believe he was just wasting my time, I can't believe the systems are that slow to look for an item,' he said.
Mr Forbes asked the self-checkout staff 'why are you telling me I've stolen something? Its because I'm black right' in a video that has now been seen nearly six million times on TikTok.
He went on to say 'you didn't do this to the older people buying their stuff but you did it to me because you thought you could waste my time' and asked 'why are you treating me like a suspect?'.

Mr Forbes said 'groups of people gathered and began laughing at me' with other 'customers asking why I'm acting like this but it's emotional'.
He acknowledged that voices were raised on 'both sides' but insisted that he 'was stunned as this had never happened to him before'.
'I raised my voice but it was obviously very different to screaming - they made feel like I was crazy'.
Mr Forbes had spoken extensively before about his stutter and said he 'can tell when someone is laughing at him'.
Hertfordshire Police said that they were called to a report of 'a man who had become aggressive to staff' but 'on Police arrival, it was ascertained the man had paid for the items and no allegations were made to officers at the scene'.
Mr Forbes said Morrison's had not bee in touch with him but the supermarket told MailOnline when contacted for comment that they have a 'zero tolerance policy to racism' and were 'looking closely into this matter'.
