Urgent search for missing girl, 14, who has not been seen for five days after disappearing without her glasses
Police have issued a plea for information on the whereabouts of a missing 14-year-old girl.
Beatrice, also known as Betty, was last seen in Wembley, five days ago on October 19. The teenager is believed to have been missing her glasses when she vanished.
The Metropolitan Police appealed for anyone who has seen her since to get in touch two days later, with the local community increasingly concerned for her safety.
A Facebook post by My Romania Community - an organisation aimed at helping Romanians to settle in the UK - said: 'Our beloved young volunteer, Beatrice, fondly known as Betty is missing from Wembley, UK.
'We are very concerned for her! Beatrice is a wonderful young person who is very active in community activities, always incredibly helpful.'

Beatrice, whose surname has not been shared, has been described as roughly 5ft 2in, of slim build and with short brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt with a black square with writing on, black jogging bottoms with grey stripes on the side and black trainers.
She volunteered at Mr Romania Community, a not-for-profit organisation which helps people in their community in a range of ways including with finding work, as well as arranging community events.
'We urge everyone to share this as widely as possible!' The group, based in Harlesden, north-west London, added.
