Amazon's week-long Big Spring Sale was just last month, and we've already been itching for the next mega sale. While we do have Memorial Day deals to look forward to, there's one upcoming shopping event living rent-free in our minds: Amazon Prime Day.

The summer will be here before you know it, so when can we expect Amazon's biggest shopping event? Here's everything we know so far.

When is Prime Day?

In recent years, Prime Day has been held across two days in July, with Prime Day 2024 being held on Tuesday, July 16, and Wednesday, July 17. If the retailer goes forward with a Prime Day this year and plans to follow the same schedule, we can probably expect a similar timeline.

What is Prime Day?

Prime Day is an exclusive sale event for Amazon Prime members, meaning you must be enrolled in a membership to participate. However, if you’re not, you can easily join at any time up until or during the event, and some may even qualify for a 30-day free trial.

The global savings event spans over 48 hours and has been offered in multiple countries, including the U.S., Austria, Japan, China, Belgium, Egypt, France, Germany, India, the United Kingdom and Singapore.

During Prime Day, shoppers can save across major categories such as beauty, tech, home, fashion and more. During previous Prime Day coverage, our editors saw deals as high as 65% off on bestselling products, from Apple AirPod Pros (at the lowest price ever, according to the Camelizer price tracker) to Alexa devices to bestselling beauty like Sunday Riley, Clinique and more.
