River is a recurring character in Bistro Huddy. He first appeared as an unnamed customer in the sketch What Really Happens When You Order Off the Menu.[1]

River is laid back. He always goes along with his girlfriend Poppy's antics, prosocial or not.

River has shoulder-length curly brown hair, parted in the middle. He usually wears a tan wide brim hat, even indoors, with a light blue henley and cobalt blue blazer.

Poppy[]
Poppy is River's girlfriend. She is usually the dominating force in the relationship.
River has stated that Poppy has a restraining order on him.[3]

Nicole[]
River and his girlfriend Poppy are regulars at Bistro Huddy and are typically served by Nicole. While River has a somewhat mild relationship with Nicole, his support of Poppy puts him and Nicole on opposing sides. Nicole and Poppy have a very antagonistic relationship, constantly shooting barbed comments at each other.[4] However, despite the passive-aggressiveness on both sides, Poppy deliberately asks to be seated in Nicole's section.[5]
