Conor McGregor has hinted that he may be considering a UFC return with a new post on social media.
McGregor, who is currently in Dubai, shared a video of himself hitting pads next to a tennis court.
Alongside the clip he wrote: 'I am interested in the Chandler/Pimblett fight this weekend' while tagging both the UFC and owners TKO.
Mcgregor's old rival Chandler and Liverpool's Pimblett face off in the co-main event of UFC 314 on Saturday night.
McGregor has not fought since losing to Dustin Poirier for the second time nearly four years ago, a bout where he suffered a horrific leg break.
He was scheduled to face Chandler last summer after their time as coaches on The Ultimate Fighter but pulled suddenly out due to a broken toe and has shown little interest in competing since.

McGregor has not competed inside the octagon since breaking his leg nearly four years ago
Chandler has made no secret of the fact he still wants the McGregor fight while Pimblett recently showed interest in welcoming him back to the octagon.
During a recent interview with SHAK MMA, Pimblett insisted he would love to make his first defence of the UFC lightweight title against McGregor at Anfield if he manages to top the division in years to come.
'My plan is to fight a top five opponent, then fight for the belt,' he said. 'Then, my first title defense could be Conor McGregor at Anfield.
'Then, that is perfect, because that's where the money is and I'm filling Anfield out, me and Conor.'
Fans hoping for a McGregor comeback will be encouraged by his latest post with the Irishman having recently stated he was currently more focused his run for the Irish presidency after visiting Donald Trump at the White House.
'Like I said, I've got two fights on the contract. I'm in negotiations,' McGregor said following a BKFC event last month.
'Last week, something happened to me. I went to the White House and my country is in my - my heart bleeds for my country right now. So there's a lot of stuff going on back home.
'I'm happy with what I've done. There's something else for me that's in my gut right now and that's kind of where I'm going, so we'll see. Greatness don't rush, also.

McGregor recently stated that he was more focused on problems in his country than fighting
'Greatness does not rush. There was an opportunity or a deal, we'll say, to fight in Alcatraz only recent.
'There's an event going on in Alcatraz in I believe June. And they came to me and it wasn't my worth. As a fighter, we've got to know our worth. I hold every pay-per-view record in the book.
'I hold every gate record in the book. And my comeback will be slated as the greatest comeback or the biggest, most-anticipated comeback of all time, and right now Ireland is in my thoughts and that's where I'm at. It will happen, I'm sure and it's always great to be here and there you go.'
