Support: Researchers

From Ballotpedia
Jump to: navigation, search

Community Researchers complete training to receive database credentials, then you will research assigned local candidates on Ballotpedia’s database, looking for candidate emails and campaign web pages. With no structured time commitment, you are able to volunteer as often as you like, from 30 minutes on a weeknight to a whole weekend day.

This self-led program allows you to determine how often you volunteer. All you need is access to a computer with a reliable internet connection. Get started below!

Read the Volunteer Handbook (Embedded below)
Complete your Community Researcher Volunteer Training by watching this video and reviewing the written instructions.
Take the Community Researcher Training Quiz. We want you to feel confident in your role, so to ensure you are prepared, we ask that all Community Researchers pass this quiz with 11/11. You can take this as many times as needed to pass!
Once you submit your quiz with 11/11, we will get you set up as an official Ballotpedia volunteer! You will receive everything you need to get started within five business days.
