SUMMARY OF THE CASE

On November 22, 2022, 22-year-old Jasmine Pace was last seen alive, leaving her family home in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was reported missing the next day, sparking a frantic search. Investigators quickly focused on her boyfriend, Jason Chen, a University of Tennessee at Chattanooga student. Surveillance footage, phone records, and digital evidence placed Chen at the center of the investigation. Police discovered blood evidence in his apartment, and days later, Jasmine’s body was found in a remote area near Suck Creek, confirming a violent and premeditated murder.

Chen was arrested at his parents' home in Nolensville, Tennessee, and charged with first-degree murder.
