The first two seasons were terrific but the show has seem to lost its mojo. The tension between Ava and Debra seems too forced. The plot seems to have become not believable. It's a shame. The first two seasons I gave 5 stars .

Only sporadically funny with 60% of the show being bad drama now. The comedian characters are only funny when they aren’t trying to be so you kinda have to take their word that the characters are funny comedians.

Hacks is definitely an enjoyable way to pass time -- but for a comedy that's also about comedy, it's not particularly funny. The scenes with Jimmy and Kayla are usually a riot, but the rest is just smile-worthy. That's more so a problem with the writing -- the acting, particularly Jean Smart, is fantastic.
