A tale of a young girl's close encounter with the galaxy's most wanted extraterrestrial. Lilo is a lonely Hawaiian girl who adopts a small ugly "dog," whom she names Stitch. Stitch would be the perfect pet if he weren't in reality a genetic experiment who has escaped from an alien planet and crash-landed on Earth. Through her love, faith and unwavering belief in ohana, the Hawaiian concept of family, Lilo helps unlock Stitch's heart and gives him the ability to care for someone else.

Jessie l This is one of my favorite movies ever!! It's cute and funny and also shows the importance of family! This movie always put me in a better mood when I'm having a bad day! A must see! Even after all this time the animation looks amazing! so beautiful with watercolor painted backgrounds. The movie is funny, emotional, and charming. Lilo is the best child character in ANY media; she's emotional, funny, weird and vulnerable. Her relationship with those around her are so real, Nani is a relatable character who is trying her best and her struggling to play a parental role to her sister is so sweet and you can understand why she's so stressed, between having to care for a little kid, herself, pay the bills, show the social worker she is able to take care of her sister, losing her parents, and STILL Nani get's her sister an emotional support "dog" because she knows Lilo is lonely and wants a friend. All the characters are great, the animation is beautiful and so is the music, the voice actors are amazing and I'll be re-watching this movie for years to come.
