KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A West Michigan murder case was featured on "48 Hours" last week.
Linda Stermer, was accused of setting a fire to her family home and murdering her husband Todd Stermer in Lawrence on on Jan. 7, 2007.
On Jan. 13, 2010, a jury convicted Linda Stermer. She was sentenced to life in prison without parole — but after serving nearly nine years, she was once again free, at least temporarily.
After this story was covered on "48 Hours," Kelly Stermer, Todd's sister, contacted our Newschannel 3 Team. She said she wants to be sure her brother's voice is heard.
