7th Period Information

All traditional 7th period classes at Phoenix incorporate individualized, small and large group instruction.  Teachers utilize a variety of instructional tools, including eClass, where they can remediate and/or accelerate the pace of the course for individual students.  This is determined by the teacher based on the course content and/or the student’s attendance/progress in the class.

Traditional 7th period students are expected to attend classes at Phoenix High School in person and complete work Monday - Thursday and selected Fridays.

NEW:  Students who finish their course early have the option to sign up for and start another class (deadlines apply).

Students enrolled in Phoenix Flex courses will log-in and complete assignments in MYeCLASS daily and should expect to spend a minimum of 10-15 hours per week working on course work in MYeCLASS.  Students may complete their flex work at home or on-site at Phoenix HS.

• All flex students must attend an on-site orientation at Phoenix HS the first week of class.  
• Flex students must completed writing assessments and take tests, final exams, and EoC's on-site at Phoenix HS.  

Teachers are available on-site at Phoenix HS (main campus) in Room 279 to assist flex students with understanding material or to administer tests, writing assessments, etc. Tuesday-Thursday from 4:00-7:00 PM.
