Good summary of problems with higher education in California
This five minute video shares some scary facts about problems with higher education in California universities:
California students are spending more than students in other states and getting less.
Well, all that explains why I'm giving up my sentimental dream of a 4th generation of Cal students in our family, and planning a trip to Utah to encourage my 7th-grader to aim for BYU. *snif*
My oldest is using an even cheaper option. She's going to a local community college for the first couple years. And then we'll see what happens. She might go off to one of the BYUs.
