- SpliX is a great driver, but DO NOT TRY TO USE THE SUGGESTED 2.0.0 VERSION, it is SEVERELY outdated. The SourceForge SVN is outdated as well, so if you need a fresh version with applied patches you better clone my GIT repo at Gitlab: gitlab.com/ScumCoder/splix
- Awesome - but DO make sure that you fetch and build the patched version of the code from SVN (click on 'CODE' above), as splix-2.0.0.tar.bz2 from the download link is missing several new printer models and valuable patches that the developers have added since 2009 !!
- You guys rock ! SCX-3200 is finally working while it was not possible to get to work with the ugly samsung unified totally garbage driver package !
- Thanks for this! Works great. Now I don't have to buy a new printer just because Samsung does not update their drivers. Shame on you, Samsung.
- Works perfectly with Xerox Phaser 3122, except for the resolution adjustment. It works with 600dpi by default (works perfectly), but when I try to reduce it to 300 it fails and doesn't print anything! Other advanced functions, like printing multiple pages on one page, also work perfectly! Started using it since Ojuba2/Fedora9, and I still use it till now! :-)
