You mean your limp anecdote? No, I didn't waste my time watching that

You believe wind and solar is "incredibly cost effective"? I suspect you did not watch the video

No, I'm just aware of what the actual facts of this discussion are https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wik... .

Thanks for letting me know how worthless your anecdote video was though. If it's pushing a narrative that doesn't match up to real life obviously it doesn't even make for good anecdotal evidence.

Yes Ive been to SF recently. Many times in fact, I live near there. I shouldn't have to tell you this if you've been to the city any time recently but that area you're talking about is only a tiny part of a large city.

Yes SF currently has some problems. Your assessment of the city being a "lawless hellscape" is clearly ideologically driven though and you sound like an idiot to anyone who's been to SF recently and doesn't actively want it to be the worst ever.

But they are the left most party with any significant representation, at least nationally.

Which makes them our left wing.

Political wings are relative to the democracy they are in. If there's a right wing then there's a left, wings come in pairs. Given that our two major parties have very different ideals both socially and economically we clearly have a left and right wing regardless of the fact that our left wing is rather conservative by international standards.

If the cost of production in India is 20% higher, it still is likely to be better than paying tariffs

Right now, yes but Trump has been so off and on with everything who the hell knows if that will last. Unlike a lot of countries he initially targeted and then repealed tariffs on India does in fact place a decent amount of tariffs on goods coming from the US so going by the things he says they're a logical target for him but really who knows? He changes his mind so much and says so much random shit companies are reduced to reading tea leaves to get any idea on what their fiscal future might hold. Hence our stock market being in such shit shape.

The India/China split is probably relatively neutral for Apple.

India's got cheap labor but it doesnt have the infrastructure that China does https://magazine.wharton.upenn.... . Long term operating costs will be higher in India because of this.

Lots of places in the world have cheap labor, what's made China so special is its infrastructure.
