The article uses speed and number of transistors interchangeably, which is misleading. From what I can tell, they are talking about chips with 10^16 billion transistors on them, not chips clocking at 4x10^16 GHz, which is what most people think of when they hear "speed".

If it was really an issue... plug up the holes and don't tell anyone? They're 6 meters long, not 6 meters wide; it shouldn't be too difficult.

It seems like this could be easily abused. What is to stop an expert player from throwing a bunch of low-stakes matches to lower their ranking to novice, then raking in the winnings in a few higher stakes matches? More importantly, whatever happened to just playing games for the fun of it?

Was this study conducted by the ministry of cliched motherhood fears? Next on their agenda: if all of your friends jumped off a bridge, would you?

Even if this were proved to be accurate, would it be legally admissible? If you unlawfully took evidence from someone's residence, it would cause a mistrial... How could you justify taking information from inside someone's head without their consent to use against them in court?
