Firefox also does this by default. Right click on the empty space and select Customize Toolbar, you can check Title Bar on the bottom left. Their developers just kept all the infrastructure intact, allowing one to choose Compact mode. HTTPS is enabled by default as well as do not track. But the options could be overridden by the user.

You just need to go out and hunt and wear polar bear skin or something like that. I saw a program a long time ago about some folks visiting indigenous tribes in the Arctic. The visitors said they were not comfortable wearing synthetics but the natives were fine who wore animal skin. Maybe they're just used to the environment?

Here is a presentation by Jeff Dahn regarding maximizing Li-Ion battery life. Although the audience is EV owners there are some things applicable for phones.

Basically prevent deep discharge cycles for Li-Ion batteries by using them between 45-75%. Try to keep the battery cool. Don't store a battery at high state of charge, especially in high ambient temperatures--store at 30%.

Hopefully with newer "single-crystal positive electrode material" batteries there shouldn't be any issues regardless of how one charges the cells. Apparently there are higher density nickle-rich cells so even single crystal variants should avoid charging above a certain voltage.

Katakana is much easier to render than Kanji with a 9-pin print head. Printing Kanji was probably easier to implement for their FX-80. I had one at the time with an additional board that printed high-resolution ASCII in 2 passes. It printed like how the article described the Chinese hacked 9-pin dot matrix printers.
