BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. (WVVA) - Governor Patrick Morrisey used Wobble Clay Shooting Range as the backdrop for his latest bill signing event.

Morrisey signed three bills into law regarding firearms and their manufacturers.

House Bill 2067 ensures firearm companies are not held liable for the actions of those who use their products. House Bill 3342 prohibits banks that contract with the state from “discriminating” against a firearm entity or firearm trade association, and Senate Bill 270 prohibits the government from restricting the use of guns during declared emergencies or disaster responses.

“As Governor, I will always support and defend West Virginians’ God-given constitutional rights,” Morrisey said. “The bills I signed today further enshrine West Virginia’s strong support for the Second Amendment. Thank you to the legislature for working with me to get this done.”
