From Columbus to the NFL: Mykel Williams’ Path to the Draft

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Mykel Williams is a name many know around the Chattahoochee Valley.
The former Hardaway standout turned Georgia star was selected by the San Francisco 49ers as the 11th overall pick in the first round of the draft.
A first-rounder is arguably something we haven’t seen in the Chattahoochee Valley in some time, since Auburn High Alum Reuben Foster in 2017.
The Fountain City and Chattahoochee Valley are cheering on their guy as he embarks on the next chapter of his career.
