Man killed in Russell neighborhood shooting

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville police are working to find information on what led to the shooting death of a man in the Russell neighborhood over the weekend.
On Sunday, April 13, John Bradley with LMPD said a shooting report was made around 8:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of West Chestnut Street.
Officers found a man who had been shot multiple times. Life-saving measures were performed until the man could be taken to the University of Louisville Hospital.
Bradley said the man died from his injuries at the hospital. No suspects have been identified at this time.
