Did you briefly panic when, after the historical passing of Pope Francis, you attempted to stream Conclave — the 2024 Oscar-winning film about a bunch of guys getting together to select a new pontiff — on Peacock, only to find it unavailable? Fret not. Anyone desiring to process their emotions by watching Ralph Fiennes and Stanley Tucci scheme together can now find the movie on Prime Video, where it began streaming free for subscribers on April 22. (Anyone without a Prime Video account can still rent the film wherever you rent your films.)
The real conclave (Conclave: Live in Vatican City) won’t start for awhile — it must begin within 15 to 20 days of a pope’s death, and 138 cardinals have to get to Rome for it. So there’s time to plan your watch party before those big metal window screens officially come down.
