How to Highlight Your Athletes On SportsEngine Play

Highlighting key moments from your team's games is a powerful way to celebrate athletes and engage fans. With SportsEngine Play, you can effortlessly clip and share exciting highlights from live streams and replays, making it easy to showcase the best plays and keep your community connected. In this article, we'll guide you through the steps to create impactful highlights that capture the essence of your team's performance.

1. Identify the Game You Want to Highlight

Login to your SportsEngine Play account and access the content you hope to clip a highlight video from. If you have not joined SportsEngine Play yet, you can sign up here. 

Protips:

• Livestream: If you're clipping from a livestream, navigate to the livestream currently airing within SportsEngine Play.
• Replay: For replay highlights, go to the recorded video of the event.

2. Start Clipping Your Highlight

Whether your content is a 30-second jump shot or a one-minute touchdown, we have the tools you need to showcase. 

For Livestreams:

• Click the Scissors Icon: During the live stream, you’ll see a scissors icon on the right side of the screen. Click on it to start the clipping process.

For Replays:

• Click the Clip Highlights Button: Below the replay video, you’ll find the “Clip Highlights” button. Click on it to access the clipping tools.

Set the Clip Length: 

• Choose your highlight's start and endpoints. Make sure the duration captures the key moments you want to showcase. After selecting the duration, you can assign your highlight to the appropriate team.

ProTips: 

Remember to title your highlight: This helps others identify the clip and gives it context.

3. Assign the Highlight to a Team

• Select the Team: Under the “Assign to Team” section, choose the appropriate team to include the highlight on their Team Channel.
• Visibility Note: If you do not select a team, the highlight will only be visible in your personal account.

Now that your highlight is assigned, you can finalize your clip.

4. Save Your Highlight

• Finalize Your Clip: After completing the above steps, click “Save” to store your highlight. Your clip is now ready to be shared and enjoyed by fans!

With your highlight saved, you can share it with your community through email and social channels to celebrate your athletes!
