The family of a murdered girl whose cellphone was hacked by the News of the World met with Britain’s deputy prime minister today. The tabloid newspaper at the heart of the scandal was closed down by its owner, media mogul Rupert Murdoch after it printed its final edition over the weekend - a move seen by many in the UK as an attempt at damage control by Murdoch who is bidding to take over a satellite broadcaster.
