Twitter has updated its mobile apps for both iOS and Android with a few new features — nothing groundbreaking, but users will appreciate the new photo-uploading options and richer notifications.
The update, announced in a blog post, allows users to attach photos to tweets more easily: Tap the attach photo button and your camera roll or gallery pops up; tap the photo you want, make any changes you like, and hit done.
Notifications have also gotten a facelift on Android: more details for each interaction, be it a favorite, retweet, or just something new from a friend.
And if you use multiple accounts, for example work and personal, you can now select which to tweet from while you're composing by just selecting the name and avatar of the account from an on-screen list.
The update is live now; If it doesn't download automatically, you can get it from the App Store or Google Play.
