'Tis the season to keep in touch with your loved ones, but if some of your loved ones live in another country, you may want to use a voice chat app to make the connection. Luckily, Skype is giving away a free month of international calling, but you have to sign up today.
All you have to do is provide billing details, because what's actually happening is they're giving you the first month of a subscription service free. You can cancel at any time, though, even five minutes after you sign up, and you'll still get that free month.
You'll be able to make as many calls as you like to landlines in a good number of countries, and to mobiles in a few.
The offer is only open to folks who have had a Skype account for at least 29 days already, probably to cut down on people creating tons of accounts to take advantage of the deal. If you like it, keep it — they'll charge you $14 for your next month of service. If you don't like it, or you've had enough chats with the family back in Puerto Rico, cancel whenever you like.
