If you've been waiting to upgrade your Mac, Apple has this for you now: updated MacBook Pros that are up to twice as fast as the previous generation and includes a new FaceTime high-def camera.
These new MacBook Pros come at typical Apple prices, starting at $1,199 for the 13-inch model with a 2.3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 and 320GB hard drive to $2,499 for the fully loaded 17-inch version with a 2.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7, AMD Radeon HD 6750M and 750GB hard drive.
The Pro will be powered by the latest dual-core and quad-core Intel processors, paired with a speedy new input/output technology called Thunderbolt, which delivers 10 gigabits per second in transfers and supports high-res HDMI, DVI and VGA displays and devices (such as FireWire and USB based) through a single port.
The laptops will also include a built-in FaceTime HD camera with triple the resolution of the previous generation. The cams will allow users to have conversations with other FaceTime users on iPhone 4, iPod touches and other Intel-based Macs.
