LEGO Black Ops: a bloody good game we'll never play

\"LEGO: Black Ops.\" If only.
\"LEGO: Black Ops.\" If only.

Video games like "LEGO Star Wars," "LEGO Indiana Jones" and "LEGO Harry Potter" have delighted gamers of all ages for years now.

So why wouldn't this year's hit first-person shooter and the fastest-selling game of all time be next to get a LEGO makeover?

Well, for starters, the blood. Ever seen a LEGO character take a head shot? Yeah, that's the kind of sight that leaves scars.

But one animator going by the name Keshan has dared to dream the M-rated LEGO dream and gives us a peek at what a LEGO-ized version of "Call of Duty: Black Ops" might look like if, say, the developers at Traveller's Tales ever decided to make it.

Here, take a look. If you don't mind a little LEGO gore to start your day, you'll enjoy it.

Meanwhile, don't miss some of Keshan's other LEGO animated hits such as "Cardboard Gear Solid" and "Avatard."

(A tip o' the hat to Kotaku for the find.)
