Yesterday it was what very well might be Julian Assange's OKCupid online dating page. Today, it's the WikiLeaks leader's possible profile for CouchSurfing.org, an international network for travelers and the hosts who are happy to put them up.
Gawker's Adrian Chen tweeted and Gawker blog Jezebel posted this profile for "Harry Harrison," the same name used on the OKCupid profile, and likely borrowed from the science fiction author. "Harry" joined CouchSurfing.org in December 2006 — the same month WikiLeaks launched, and "Harry" last logged onto OKCupid — and hasn't been back since July 2008.

Describing himself as a "grown up enfant terrible," Harry lists his occupation as "Investigative journalist/rabble rouser," his education: "Beaten with sticks/academic and wordy."
Wordy indeed! Under "One Amazing Thing I've Seen or Done," Harry lists several — though it's not entirely clear whether these are things he's done, or just seen in one marathon session in front of the Discovery Channel: "Many stories from attempted assassinations in Africa to telephone taps in Australia, to undercover in Egypt, election rigging, deportations, Russian mafia, scientific expeditions, politicians wives."
Harry has three positive rankings from hosts, two neutral and no negative marks. One piece of feedback seems particularly telling.
"Eloquent, intellectual, enjoyable, open, Harry is very interesting company," writes a Berlin host. "I had the impression that he has lost the understanding of some basic rules of politeness on the way. But if you tell the hacker to not hack in real terms, he will understand and respect it."
