With the latest update to Google Maps for mobile, Android users can add photos to reviews on "Place Pages" and share with other users their unique perspectives on venues.
I updated Google Maps on my Samsung Droid Charge and there it was, another option next to "Check in here" and above where you rate the place. It also shows up under "More Options." The photos don't show up immediately. I added mine a few hours ago and it has yet to appear.
The update came out yesterday and also added some labs that might be of use, too, such as "Bubble Buttons," which add call and navigate buttons to results on the map. Convenient!
Oh, and the update also has a feature that Android Central seemed to find particularly intriguing: places you've rated 4 or higher will now pop up on your map, making it easy to go back to tried and true experiences.
