Madonna brought Stevie Wonder onstage to sing Prince's classic "Purple Rain" at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards.

Rene-Charles Angelil presents the Icon Award to his mother, Celine Dion. Dion, who lost both her husband René and brother Daniel earlier this year, broke down in tears after her son made a surprise appearance on stage to present her with the Billboard Icon Award.

He was a big winner, taking home eight honors, including Top Hot 100 Artist and Top R&B Artist. He dedicated one of his awards to Prince, saying "I love him so much. I didn't know him, but he was so close to me. He will always be an inspiration."
