British physicist Stephen Hawking can communicate with the outside world only by twitching his cheek, but he can still explore the cosmos, thanks to a new computer-controlled Celestron 11-inch telescope. The world's best-known quadriplegic scientist showed off his "new toy" in a Facebook post this week. He shared some shots of the moon, the Orion nebula and distant galaxies — and told his 2.5 million Facebook fans that he was planning still more cosmic snapshots. But he's not just gazing at the stars: He's also giving tours of the London Science Museum and making his pitch for colonizing other planets.
