Crowds Line the Streets to See Richard III's Coffin in England

500 years after his death, the remains of King Richard III were carried in a procession to Leicester Cathedral where they will be re-interred.

More than 500 years after his death, crowds lined the streets in Leicester, England, as a solemn procession carrying the remains of King Richard III passed through the city. Richard III's skeleton was discovered in 2012 beneath a parking lot in the foundations of Greyfriars Church. His casket will lie inside Leicester Cathedral for public viewing until March 26 when he will be re-interred during a service attended by members of the royal family.
