Mexican authorities said Wednesday that they had arrested a top lieutenant of Sinaloa drug cartel leader and international fugitive Jaoquin "El Chapo" Guzman.
The Juarez district attorney said Fernando Ramirez Dominguez, who also goes by Jose Ramirez Dominguez, has been accused of the shooting deaths of five men this year.

Ramirez Dominguez, 39, who is known as "El Pepillo" and "El Duende," has been identified by witnesses and on security camera video from August 31, 2015 that shows one of the killings, authorities said.
According to investigators, Ramirez Dominguez’s tattoos are visible on that surveillance tape.
More murders may be linked to him as the investigation continues, according to prosecutors.
Guzman, his purported boss, escaped from federal prison July 11 through a tunnel.
In the months since, Mexican authorities have arrested several members of his organization. They have also confiscated planes, cars and weapons that allegedly belonged to him.
