OK, so is there a feud between the "Dancing with the Stars" judges and ballroom's bad boy Maksim Chmerkovskiy, or isn't there?
Earlier this week, a show source told TODAY.com that even though judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba think of themselves as impartial, Maks might actually have a tougher time pleasing the panel than the other pros. And it's thanks to his past blowups.
"Carrie Ann was genuinely offended by some of his comments," the source had told us.
And judging by how the panel critiqued Maks' celeb partner, Melissa Gilbert, both on premiere night and Monday while tiptoeing around other celebs who did worse, it's easy to see how some fans may think the panel is holding on to past grudges.
But in an interview with the Huffington Post Monday, the judge denied there was a feud with the easy-on-the-eyes pro.
"Oh my god, no, I don't hate Maks!" Carrie Ann told HuffPo. "Publicly, it looks like there are some negative words being thrown, but they're not between Maks and I. Maks said some things last season, but I totally understand it. I know how hard it is for these dancers to work, and I love and respect them all."
