Police Release Video of Deadly Shooting at Tennessee State University

Authorities on Saturday released surveillance video of a deadly shooting at Tennessee State University that left one person dead and three others injured.

Police said the shooting on campus early Thursday apparently occurred during a dispute over a dice game. Cameron Selmon, 19, of Memphis, who was not a TSU student, was killed.

Two students who were bystanders were shot and wounded but their injuries were not life threatening, police said. A third student was grazed by a bullet.

Police increased walking patrols on the Tennessee State University, the university said. Police said they believe at least two gunmen were involved.

“We are hopeful that the release of this video will encourage eyewitnesses to contact Metro Police via their tip hotline," university spokesperson Kelli Sharpe said in a statement Saturday. A $6,000 reward has been offered fro information that leads to an arrest.
