1. Democrats Split Over Whether Biden Should Enter Race
As speculation drags on, a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll shows that 38 percent of Democratic primary voters say they do not want Biden to run. Thirty percent said they want the VP to throw his hat in the ring, while 31 percent said they had no opinion on the matter. Read more in POLITICS.
2. Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump Lead Latest Polls
Clinton increased her lead over Bernie Sanders after the first Democratic debate, and now bests the Vermont senator by at least 20 points, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll. 3. Oscar 'Blade Runner' Pistorius Released From Prison
Pistorius was released into house arrest Monday after serving less than a year in prison for fatally shooting his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. A family spokeswoman said Pistorius' family is "happy Oscar is home but they want to make the point that Oscar's sentence continues." Read more in NEWS.
4. Stunner: Liberal Leader Wins Canadian Election
Canada's Liberal leader Justin Trudeau scored a stunning election victory Monday, and his party seized a Parliamentary majority. Prime Minister Stephen Harper conceded defeat, ending his government's nine-year run in power and the 56-year-old's brand of fiscal and cultural conservatism. Read more in NEWS.
5. United Nations' Chief Heads to Mideast Amid Violence
U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon jetted to the Middle East on Tuesday in the in hopes of mitigating the tension between Israelis and Palestinians. "I am dismayed — as we all should be — when I see young people, children, picking up weapons and seeking to kill," he said in a video message sent ahead of his visit. Read more in NEWS.
6. Lamar Odom Transferring to Los Angeles Hospital
The former NBA star is transferring to a Los Angeles hospital to continue treatment, sources close to him told NBC News' sister network E! on Monday. Odom, 35, the estranged husband of Khloé Kardashian, was found unresponsive last week at a legal brothel in Nevada. Read more in NEWS.
7. Was the CIA Director's Email Hacked?
Federal officials are looking into reports that a personal AOL email account belonging to CIA Director John Brennan may have been hacked by a high school student. The senior officials tell NBC News there is no indication any classified material was taken. Read more in NEWS.

Weight Watchers might be all about losing, but the company gained a new supporter and soaring stock shares Monday after Oprah Winfrey paid about $43.2 million for a 10 percent stake in the weight loss company.
