
Officials in North Carolina are hunting for a man now charged in the murder of Esau Abraham Brenes.
Francisco Rivas Galves-Huezo, 21, is charged with first-degree murder, and robbery with a dangerous weapon, in connection with Brene's death. Galves-Huezo's whereabouts are currently unknown, and police are trying to locate him.

Brenes, 25, was last seen in Siler City, North Carolina on October 4th after family members say he drove a high school acquaintance and two strangers home in his green Mini Cooper. His body was discovered on October 24th along a road near the outskirts of Siler City.

The investigation into Brenes's murder is ongoing, and several other leads are being pursed, according to a press release from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI).
Law enforcement officials ask that anyone with information about Galves-Huezo's whereabouts contact either the North Carolina SBI at (919) 779-8188, the Siler City Police Department at (919) 742-5626, or the Chatham County Sheriff's Office (919) 542-2911.
Brenes was featured in Dateline NBC's 'Missing in America' series in early October.
