- [Instructor] While working with Microsoft Power Automate desktop over the years, I learned quite a few great ways on how to turbo boost our automations and optimize them for the best performance. First up, efficient selectors. Imagine trying to find a friend in a park. Would you rather say to them, I am by a tree, or I am by a giant red statue? So be specific. And in the automation world, this means using unique selectors that are not generic. If the selector is generic, the application is going to take a long time to search for that selector on a webpage, and it also might mis-select it with other selectors. Next, reduce screen interaction. Think of this as a choice between reading a book yourself versus waiting for someone to narrate to you.
