- [Instructor] Excel has a number of different protection schemes and one of them is to allow certain users to make changes to certain portions of a worksheet. In other words, we can allow edit ranges, that's what the feature is called. And in the pop-ups we see to the right, a description of it, we can set up password protection on certain ranges and choose people who can edit those ranges with a special password. Now I'm in charge of this list, imagine and others can use it. A couple of other people can use it, maybe three or four. Some of them can change column G. They'll have a special password for it. Others can change column H. For starters, I don't want them seeing column D. Birth dates are kind of sensitive for some people. Let's just hide them. Right Click, hide column D.
