welcome

I’m so glad you’re here

It can feel impossible to know ourselves when our world rarely feels quiet, when we are coping with shame, and when we can't shake the fear we are falling short.

Specializing in comprehensive care and relationship and sex therapy for when we feel disconnected from who we are and what we want, I am here to support you. We will process your pain and disappointments, heal, and work together to create pleasure and peace in your life.

I SUPPORT SMART, INSIGHTFUL, EMPATHIC PEOPLE

who struggle to find value in themselves or time to prioritize themselves, despite feeling like they have achieved many of their goals. Feeling alone in this private self-doubt can be painful and frustrating.

If you are questioning your worth, connection, or desirability in sexual or romantic relationships, feeling a disconnect between your accomplishments and your happiness, wondering if you’ve made the right life decisions, or coping with a feeling of yearning for something more, you’ve come to the right place.

OUR THERAPEUTIC STYLE

+ COLLABORATION

My therapeutic approach is non-judgmental, trauma-informed, sex-positive, anti-oppressive, mindful, integrative, and interactive, focusing on your strengths.

Specializing in sex and relationships, I love working with bodily autonomy and sex positivity. I provide deep support if you have felt in the dark or dismissed when navigating your emotional and physical well-being. I am dedicated to interdisciplinary connection, and my work has brought me to collaborations across fields, including midwifery.

I listen with open curiosity and ask questions to illuminate your unconscious beliefs and desires. We may utilize somatic check-ins, psychodynamic exploration, breathwork or meditation, cognitive-behavioral questioning, Exposure and Response Prevention, Sensate Focus, and intentional goal-setting to help ground our work.

I provide LGBTQIA+/Kink/Consensual Non-Monogamy/Polyam/Sex Work/Trans/Gender Non-Conforming affirming care. Body liberation, fat acceptance, and Health At Every Size (HAES) all inform the way I approach the body in our work.

MY VALUES

Our world often sees things in a very binary, specific way. This means that many of us do not see ourselves represented in the spaces around us. My work is grounded in the belief that there is nothing pathological about our individual experiences, but that the systems we live in often fail to hold us.

EDUCATION AND CLINICAL EXPERTISE

I am a US-trained Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years. I hold an MS from Columbia University in Clinical Social Work, a BA from Marquette University in Social Welfare + Justice and Sociology, and a post-graduate sexologist certification in Holistic Sex Therapy from the Institute for Sexuality Education and Enlightenment.

I am an AASECT certified Sex Therapist and I have been trained in telemental health best practices through a number of organizations and am a TMHI Telemental Health Practitioner. To learn more about my professional experience, please check out my LinkedIn.

I have worked most recently in New York, Iowa, Istanbul, and Switzerland. After moving regularly as a result of my partner’s work in the humanitarian sector, I personally understand the importance of accessible support and treatment, no matter where we may be. Currently spending most of my time in Canada, I am licensed in my practice home base of NYC and currently work with clients in New York, Florida, and worldwide.
