Detroit police probe delayed notification in stolen car case

Clyde's car was reported stolen in January, and although it was found by the Michigan State Police in March, Clyde was not informed that it had been recovered and was accruing fees at a tow yard. After bringing his story to light, Clyde's car has now been returned, the fees were waived, and an investigation is underway to determine the communication breakdown between the Detroit Police and Michigan State Police.
