3D4D CHALLENGE

The impact of 3D printing can be huge for the developing world but without the proper funding to implement large-scale projects, this can be difficult to impossible. In comes the 3D4D challenge where those who want to participate are mentored about the technology: its capabilities and its limits. And for a couple of weeks to come up with a business plan. The business plan must show how 3D printing can be used to help improve their respective communities. The six winning teams/participants will be sent to the United Kingdom and will be educated about how their ideas can be implemented in the most effective way as well as the social impact it will have for their community. After which, they had pitched their ideas to a panel.
