Ensuring Equality and Fairness for All
New York has always served as a safe harbor for progressive principles and social justice. To this day, New York remains a beacon of hope and opportunity for all.
In New York, we pledge to provide opportunity for all, welcome immigrants, foster community, provide for the poor, and respect individual and religious freedoms.
We will protect the social progress we have made – such as achieving Marriage Equality; taking immediate action against unfair labor practices; and establishing the first state-level office focused on increasing immigrants’ participation in civic and economic life. And we will continue to push even harder to support the success of - and to ensure equality for - all New Yorkers.
New York will show this nation once again that the greatest success is shared success and that we build our brightest future together.
