Might be a stupid question but when did the disable p2p option disappear?
p2p destroys my connection as we have horrible upload rates in Aus (which also count towards data limits), with p2p enabled I'd download at maybe 50k because it would max out my upload and my connection would keep dropping out so I always had to disable p2p so I could download at a decent speed and not get drop outs.
Today I noticed the option is gone? how long has it been gone for? (might explain the dropouts I've gotten when patching heroes of late).

Support for peer-to-peer has been completely removed as recently as the last patch (1.2.5). Because of this, the option to turn it off was removed.

Good move by Blizzard\Battle.net. P2P was getting a bit dangerous. I'd have to disable it to keep my anti-virus and anti-malware programs from alerting and blocking me to the different connections P2P was using.
P2P is just a protocol, it's not dangerous, only your use may be.
Oh yay, going to get 200kb/s downloads once more.
200 KB/s is a POOR download rate. My new laptop downloads at 5 ~ 8 MB/s (Yes that is a capital B which is Bytes not bits) My desktop however (configured with the same spyware and antivirus and windows defender, using the same internet connection) is currently downloading at 0b/s now, with no "Play" button. Now it's 24 to 48 + Hrs to wait for a tech to look
Yeah - wish they'd kept the P2P functionality. If it's causing problems, just make it a non-default option. I'm downloading 30+ GB of WoW right now at ~300 KB/s. It's kind of a joke.
As someone with 500MB upload and download I would love having p2p as well.

great. I was wondering why on my supposedly 100Mbps connection I was getting 2 MBps download speeds. Wonderful.

This sucks balls. I'm trying to download Overwatch for hours now.. Managed to get 1% so far... With a freaking 60 MBps connection.
Yeah downloading at 300-10 kb/s which is terrible, like some other people said, it should still be an option just not default. P2P is limited by many ISPs making it difficult. please bring it back!
As rich as Blizzard is these are the top DL speeds we get? Please bring back P2P.
